Another day, another jailbreak tool update. This time, the spotlight is shining on the Odyssey Team’s Taurine jailbreak for iOS & iPadOS 14.0-14.3.
The latest update, coined version 1.0.4, brings a series of bug fixes and improvements that existing Taurine jailbreak uses are sure to appreciate.
In the announcement Tweet shared by the official @OdysseyTeam_ Twitter account and echoed on the Sileo / Taurine / Odyssey Discord channel, we learn what’s new about this particular update:
Citing this change log for Taurine v1.0.4, this is what users can expect from the latest version of the jailbreak app:
– Improves battery life
– Fixes hangs when renaming certain tweak dylibs
– Fixes userspace reboot failing for certain users
– Fixes full system hangs for certain users
Given the critical role that the jailbreak apps play in the reliability and stability of our jailbreaks, in addition to their capabilities, we always recommend that users keep their jailbreak apps up to date whenever they can.
The latest version of the Taurine jailbreak can be downloaded from the official Taurine.app website or from our Download Jailbreak Tools page and slide-loaded with AltStore on compatible devices.
Please note that you can also use the Jailbreak Updater extension to update your Taurine jailbreak if you can’t get to a computer anytime soon. It’s still recommended, however, that you install the latest version of the Taurine jailbreak when possible.
